Real-World Practices and Transferable Adult Learning Methods

Learning becomes most meaningful when observation turns into reflection and practice. This OER documents applied learning gained during the SMART-AI job-shadowing mobility in Belgrade, focusing on real teaching environments and adult-learning practices observed at BAPUSS. It captures how adult education is delivered in practice—through structured facilitation, applied tasks, digital tools and learner-centred approaches. The guide translates mobility experiences into transferable methods that can be adapted to different adult education contexts. Special attention is given to competence-based learning, experiential activities and the practical use of digital and AI-supported tools. The resource supports adult educators and organisations in strengthening digital confidence, reflective practice and inclusive learning design. All content is presented as an open, reusable learning resource, intended to support long-term knowledge sharing beyond the mobility itself.
